Shreyas Iyer has a heated discussion with coach Brendon McCullum after being dismissed. The video goes viral

Once dismissed, KKR’s skipper Shreyas Iyer was seen with the coach Brendon McCullum in the dugout, presumably discussing his dismissal.

Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer put up a brave fight for his team against Rajasthan Royals to keep them in the hunt until the last over of the match. Rishabh Iyer hit an impressive 85 off 51 balls as KKR almost managed to chase down a formidable 218-run target but fell 7 runs short

Iyer, however, was the first victim of Royals’ spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s brilliant hat-trick in the 17th over of the chase. After he was dismissed, the KKR coach was seen talking to the head coach Brendon McCullum who had been sitting in the dugout.

Meanwhile, Iyer had his bat and helmet in his hands talked to McCullum about something going on on the field… This left the KKR coach clueless too.

After a defeat in a close match, KKR captain Iyer praised his rival batter Jos Buttler for his 2nd ton. “I think we started off well and according to the run-rate we were going,” he said.

The match was a cliff-hanger, as Kolkata Knight Riders seemed sure to win at one stage before the pendulum tilted back in favor of Rajasthan Royals. wickets from Chahal, Ashwin, and Prasidh Krishna brought Sanju Samson led Rajasthan Royals back into the game.

Hopefully, we will come back hard in the coming games. There is a lot of pressure and I love pressure. I just wanted to set an example, doesn’t matter whatever score they get. If they can get it, I can get it as well. That’s how I was thinking,” said the KKR skipper.
