UPTET 2022 Exam Date Notification, Update

Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a State Eligibility Test conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) to find suitable candidates for teaching posts at government and government-aided schools across the state. The state-level UPTET exam is held once a year to recruit eligible teachers for the primary (classes 1-5) and upper primary (classes 6-8) classes. UPTET Exam 2022

UPTET is the minimum qualification required in Uttar Pradesh for a person to be eligible for an appointment as a teacher for Classes 1 to 8. Any applicant can appear in both UPTET papers 1 and 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who want to be a teacher for classes 1-5. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes 6-8.UPTET 2022 will be conducted in two sessions. The Primary Level Teachers exam will be held in the morning session (10:00 am to 12:30 pm) and Upper Primary Level Teachers in the evening session (02:30 pm to 05:00 pm).

UPTET 2022 Notification

• The UPTET application form will be available in October 2022.
• To be eligible for the UPTET 2022, you’ll need to have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.
• The organizing body will issue admit cards for UPTET on January 12, 2022, at their website.
• Candidates need to secure at least 60% (55% for the reserved category) in order to qualify for the exam.
• Candidates who qualify for the exam will be awarded a UPTET Eligibility Certificate, which is valid for their lifetime.

UPTET 2022 Application Form

UPTET 2022 Online Registration will be conducted for a short span of time and dates will be announced along with the UPTET Notification. Candidates must provide a valid phone number, email address, and passport photo while applying. They are also required to complete the necessary paperwork and send it in before the closing date.

Last year, more than 21 lakh candidates registered for the UPTET exam, which is nearly 16 lakh registrations in 2019. Out of the total applications received in 2021, over 11.47 lakh appeared in the Primary level exam and 7.65 lakh appeared in the Upper-Primary level.
